Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) Certification Course

2007 marks the 5th year that Klose Training has offered an MLD Certification Course in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  This training is part of the core curriculum for the Oncology Massage Certification Program offered through the Peregrine Institute of Oncology Massage Training (formerly conducted by the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing.)

It is wonderful to work with an organization so dedicated to educating therapists about safe and effective massage therapy for those living with cancer and the role that Manual Lymph Drainage plays in creating a more complete picture of care.

Introduction to MLD Workshop

We would like to extend our thanks to the Mississippi Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association for inviting Klose Training to take part in their 2007 State Conference.  This 12 hour Introduction to MLD Workshop gave participants a background in the theory and application of Manual Lymph Drainage, and encouraged further study of this technique.

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) Certification Course

Lymphedema Therapy Certification Course

In January of this year, The Penyayang Foundation of Malaysia hosted its first Lymphedema Therapy Certification Course. This course was conducted by Julia Rodrick, OTR/L, CLT-LANA. The therapists attending this course were hand-selected to represent each of Malaysia’s states. Their completion of this course marks the beginning of Malaysia’s countrywide Lymphedema Therapy Treatment Program, and honors the legacy of the late Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood, the wife of Malaysia’s fifth Prime Minister, and founder of the Penyayang Foundation.

Our sincere congratulations to the newly certified Lymphedema Therapists and to the Penyayang Foundation for its continued support of cancer patients and their families.

Lymphedema Therapy Certification Course

Congratulations to the newly Certified Lymphedema Therapists. The participants enjoyed the course held in the college town of Boulder, CO.
