The passing on of their experiences will be invaluable to me as I endeavor to do my best to treat the patients with whom I will make contact! Thanks to all involved. The course was intensive in three weeks but good structure to daily sessions between both theory and practice work. All information provided was very well detailed and easily understood. Excellent structure to the three week course whereby all new material was provided with adequate progression of same. Towards end of placement it was good to see all this in action in the clinic, e.g. treatment sessions, gym classes, etc. An excellent way to learn all about lymphology MLD/CDT.

International MLD/CDT Course
Foeldi Clinic, Germany, June 2004
About the Course: This was an excellent course of a high standard. I have thoroughly enjoyed this week. It was so well organized. The content and subjects taught were pitched at exactly the right level. The opportunity to attend the Foeldi Clinic again as been such a privilege and sharing case history presentations was a great way to learn. I leave feeling so motivated, having learned more about lymphedema management. Thank you to everyone involved in teaching us. Very enjoyable & interesting course. Good at reinforcing previous knowledge plus good variety of new knowledge presented. Particularly enjoyed Prof. Foeldis lecture. Big thank you for the Wednesday evening social. That was a lot of fun. Before the course I felt a little apprehensive that I might be rapped over the knuckles for not doing something correctly. On the contrary, the atmosphere was one of support and encouragement. It has reminded me of some things I had forgotten and helped me to correct some bad habits. The Foeldi Clinic is world famous but the staff here are very special people who are always keen to help us students and central to everything is the care they obviously feel for their patients. Having both Heinz and Guenter walking alongside me in the clinical sessions has been invaluable reassuring me that I am doing things correctly. I would thoroughly recommend this course to any lymphedema therapist.
